Ministering to the LORD

Following the pattern of Antioch, where prophets and teachers were ministering to the Lord and fasting when the Holy Spirit spoke (Acts 13:1–3), this gathering turns Godward first — worship, thanksgiving, prayer in the Spirit, Scripture and attentive silence — before it turns to requests.

What to expect.

  1. Worship and thanksgivingWe come to minister to Him, not to extract an answer.
  2. Prayer in the Spirit and with the mindRoom for tongues as Godward prayer, with order in the gathering (1 Corinthians 14:15, 40).
  3. SummonsInstruction received is recorded, weighed and tested by Scripture, Christ, fruit and community.
  4. IntercessionWe pray by name for one another, for the household of faith and for the nations.
